Tyndal SMS opt-in
How end-users consent to receive SMS messages from Tyndal-powered AI assistants.
About this program
Tyndal is an AI assistant platform. Each Tyndal-using business operates its own AI agent with a dedicated 10DLC phone number. End-users (the business's customers) opt in to receive verification codes, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, follow-ups, and two-way customer-care replies from that business's agent.
No marketing blasts, no purchased lists, no third-party outreach. Outbound is limited to people the business's own customers have already given consent to.
How end-users opt in
Each Tyndal-using business gives its customers a personalized opt-in URL of the form:
https://tyndal.ai/sms/opt-in/<agent-id>
On that page the user enters their mobile number, ticks an explicit consent checkbox, and submits. Tyndal then sends a 6-digit verification code via SMS; the user replies with the code to complete opt-in. No outbound SMS other than the verification code is sent before the verification reply arrives.
Required SMS disclosures
Every opt-in page surfaces the following to the end-user before they consent:
- The business's name and the assistant's name.
- AI disclosure: messages are sent by the business's Tyndal-powered AI assistant, not a human.
- Message types (verification, transactional notifications, two-way customer-care replies).
- Message frequency: varies.
- Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.
- Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
- Help: reply HELP for help.
- Re-subscribe: reply START, YES, or UNSTOP.
- Links to our Privacy Policy (§10 covers SMS) and Terms (§9 covers SMS).
